Orkut Hack … Scrap Spammer

Bored with work yesterday and waiting for the 3 hour conference call at 7:30 PM to start, I was just looking around at some of college junior’s blogs, when I noticed that this chap had a post about orkut hacking. Intersting ..
Some nice tweaks, nice work
Though, it doesnt work now, I assume because of extra search form that orkut scrap book page has now.
Anyway, a little change to it and this is what we have now.

Just copy paste the entire javascript code into your browser address bar, when you are on someone’s scrap book ( a friends’ scrap book only, orkut has image verification in case you are scrapping someone not in your friends’s list, hence this wont’ work )
You will be prompted for the message you want to scrap with.

Small changes, that you can customize this for yourself.
1. change the 50 to something else in this line if ( i > 50) { exit(0); } if you want more or less scrap messages. Of course, it doesn’t send exactly 50 scraps. Determined more or less by the refresh time of the page.
2. change the 300 to something else, depending on how often you want to scrap. 300 milliseconds is the time between subsequent scraps.

i have updated the code .. there was some change in the orkut scrapbook page, because of which this code didn’t work.

hi Atiq ,

As I mentioned in the post, it will not post exactly 50 scraps .. that depends more or less on your internet connection speed.
If you want to really trouble someone then remove the lines that say if (i > 50) then exit(0) altogether ..
that will keep on posting scraps till you close the page by clicking on browser close window.
If you want more scraps but limit it to some high number, you can always increase the number 50 to lets say 500.
500 for me gave about 90 scraps.

I read somewhere that the script would not work on Internet Explorer and would work on firefox. that was not the case with me .. I tried it on IE 6 and on firefox 2.0 .. and in both cases it worked fine for me.
I think the only reason why some people got the “page not found” problem could be because they missed some part of the script to paste on the address bar. I dont think the has anything to do with this script anyway.

I solved this problem, well, first of all, delete every history, cookies, etc of you web browse…
Them, open the control panel, and open the Java console.
In the tab general, go to temporary internet files, them click in View, there will be a list, simply delete the flies that just appear when you did the scrap spammer.
If you don’t know which are the files, with the java control panel still opens, do the scrap spammer, and them, see what file is create. them delete it and the other equals files!

I hope this can help!

It seems that orkut locks the accounts that try javascripts temporatily for a maximum of about eight hours. That could be the case here, though I am not too sure about that.

well acc to orkut-plus.com it seems dat when da new version of orkut cam out, da n00bs at google fixed dis bug, and apparently nebody who tries to do scrap-floodin now has his acc locked… i think da only was out is a direct complaint to da google team from ur acc settings… just a suggestion…
